Introducing DAYTRIPPER
Meet Daytripper: 60 Days on the Road Exploring America’s National Parks.
The trip that inspired the ethos of Luna Volta, a summer of #vanlife exploring America's National Parks. Written by Luna Volta founder Kayla Clements, Daytripper is a woman-written, thoughtfully-designed coffee table book exploring vivid photographs and compelling stories from life on the road.
Kayla spent the summer of 2017 exploring, camping, and hiking through nine states and twelve of America’s National Parks. During the trip, Kayla reconnected to the land, to the beauty found in solitude with nature, and to the healing properties of regenerative agriculture and hemp. It became her mission to learn how to contribute to a brighter future and Luna Volta was born. The book was successfully crowdfunded in 2018 and now’s your chance to get to your hands on a limited first-edition *signed* copy that supports a good cause.

“Stories include our car’s set-up, what gear we packed, how we set-up camp each evening, favorite (& most eventful) hikes, animal sightings, etc. I aimed to share not only the photographs, but the experiences from the day hikes where we struggled to get to the trail end. The hikes presented challenges and the lessons learned became profound.” - Kayla Clements
Help Protect Our Parks
“I am excited to launch this book as a community endeavor. This book isn’t just about me; it’s about all of us. The public lands are a collective gift that as humans on planet Earth, we will pass on to the generations to come. Protection of these sacred lands is not guaranteed. Assist me to help ensure their survival. On top of being printed on recycled paper and printed locally in the U.S., a portion of every book sale will go back to supporting the protection of our National Parks.”
