What is NOVA?

NOVA is a daily wellness oil containing only two ingredients - full spectrum phytocannabinoid rich (PCR) hemp extract blended into organic coconut MCT oil.

What is phytocannabinoid rich (PCR) hemp extract?

phyto- = of a plant

endo- = internal; within

cannabinoid = secondary compounds found within the Cannabis Sativa plant (both hemp + cannabis)

phyto-cannabinoid = cannabinoids found in plants

endo-cannabinoid = cannabinoids made endogenously in our bodies

Phytocannabinoid rich hemp extract refers to when the pure oil extracted from hemp contains all the same cannabinoids and compounds found in the original hemp plant. Unlike isolated or synthetic cannabinoids, full-spectrum hemp oil contains an array of many cannabinoids, including CBD.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD for short) is one of the most well known cannabinoids found in the hemp plant that helps to combat stress enzymes. CBD is non-intoxicating, unlike its famous cousin THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

Hemp Vs. Cannabis?

Hemp and cannabis are technically the same plant, Cannabis Sativa. Hemp has historically been bred to contain less than .3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) where cannabis contains greater than .3% THC. CBD can be extracted from both.

NOVA is extracted from hemp and contains <.3% of THC.

Full Spectrum vs. Isolate?

Full spectrum hemp oil contains many cannabinoids, including CBD, that work better together in what is known as the “entourage effect”.

A CBD isolate is cannabidiol in its isolated form – without any other cannabinoids present.

What are terpenes?

We LOVE terpenes. Terpenes are similar to cannabinoids in that they are also secondary compounds found not only in hemp, but throughout nature in other plants. Terpenes are a part of the plant’s defense system and help to protect from pests but most importantly, are the aromatic compounds that give plants their smell.

What is coconut MCT oil?

MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides or medium chain fatty acids and they are derived from coconut oil. MCT oil is colorless, odorless, and is known for providing you with quick energy and a sharper brain. MCT oil is absorbed more quickly than other fats and is easily converted into energy by our bodies.

What are the benefits of NOVA?

NOVA is intended to help aid the body back into a state of homeostasis (or balance). We recommend conducting your own additional research into using hemp oil.

How do I use NOVA? Why sublingual?

NOVA is intended to be used sublingually (underneath your tongue) for maximum efficacy and quickest absorption by the body. By holding the oil underneath your tongue, it can be absorbed by your mucous membrane (therefore bypassing the digestive tract) to go straight to your bloodstream. This allows for proper dosing and a more immediate effect.

How do I know the right dose for me?

We recommend starting at 5mg CBD (1/4 dropper), tracking your progress, and working your way up from there to find your body’s unique ‘sweet spot’. If desired, NOVA can be taken 2-3x daily.

How much cannabidiol (CBD) is in NOVA?

NOVA contains 600mg of CBD as well as trace amounts of other cannabinoids and terpenes to encourage the “entourage effect”.

What does NOVA taste like?

Expect to taste a blend of earthy + coconut flavor profiles. If preferred, wash down with water after 30 seconds to dilute taste.

Will I feel an effect?

The effect is very subtle. Treat it like taking a daily vitamin. No, you will not feel a high or an intoxicating effect.

Will I test positive on a drug test?

It is unlikely you will test positive as there are only trace amounts (<.3%) of THC. If your job is at risk, however, we recommend searching for a CBD isolate product.

Storing + shelf life of NOVA?

NOVA is best for 2 years unopened, 1 year when opened. Store at room temperature in a cool, dark place.

Is NOVA organic?
